Job summary

Pharmed in Bengaluru seeks a Deputy Manager - Training with 4+ years in Pharmaceutical Training to lead and scale the company’s training initiatives. You will design, deliver, and assess Basic Training Programs, classroom, online, and on‑the‑job training to ensure sales teams gain product knowledge and detailing skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Pharmaceutical Training (PMT experience preferred).
• Graduate in Science or Pharmacy (B.Pharm/Pharm.D preferred).
• MBA is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Continuously update knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, disease management, and company products.
• Deliver Basic Training Programs (BTP), Classroom Training, Online Training, and On-the-Job Training (OJT/JFW).
• Ensure new recruits acquire product knowledge and sales skills including detailing and RCPA.
• Publish BTP reports and provide feedback to managers and stakeholders.
• Identify low-performing TSOs during BTP and prepare development plans in coordination with line managers.
• Conduct OJT/JFW for identified TSOs after completion of BTP.
• Organize development programs for low-performing headquarters through classroom, virtual, telephonic, and field coaching.
• Maintain MIS reports for monitoring training effectiveness and performance metrics.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) using SFE data, assessments, and stakeholder feedback.
• Plan and deliver refresher training programs based on business requirements.
• Conduct product knowledge and detailing assessments during strategy meetings, launches, and review meetings.
• Spend approximately 3 field working days per month for OJT/JFW (10 days during BTP months).
• Identify performance gaps using SFE data and sales performance reports in coordination with Sales Leadership.
• Conduct detailing role plays during JFW and share assessment reports with stakeholders.
• Publish quarterly reports covering training assessments, SFE performance, work hygiene, and sales improvement.
• Develop learning videos and manage the Pharma Edu learning platform while ensuring maximum participation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution of training activities.
• Support continuous improvement of training processes and methodologies.
• Take ownership of additional assignments provided by the Training Head or Management.
• Continuously enhance personal knowledge and training capabilities.
