Job summary

ADM is seeking a high-impact sales professional to drive the Flavours business in South Asia, targeting major accounts across Gurugram, Mumbai and beyond. You will build a robust pipeline, manage end-to-end sales, and collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Applications to co-create value for C&D/ and customer partners.

You bring 8–12 years of proven key account sales in flavours or ingredients, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Food Science or related field; MBA an advantage.
• 8–12 years' sales experience developing key accounts in flavours or ingredients.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience with multinational or global key accounts is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required for key account work.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth of the Flavour business with key accounts across designated South Asia region and build a healthy pipeline by collaborating with regional leaders, Marketing and CD&D/ teams.
• Prospect and qualify new customers, turning early conversations into live opportunities.
• Manage full sales cycle end to end from identifying opportunities to closing and delivering topline.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, understand unmet needs and stay ahead of market directions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Applications to co-create concepts and present ideas at customer sessions.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, ensure CRM hygiene, track KPIs through Power BI, and coordinate with Customer Service for receivables.
• Travel extensively within SA region to nurture accounts and pursue growth.

Location-Gurugram/Mumbai

This position will be an integral part of the dedicated sales force behind the growth of ADM's Flavours business across South Asia. The portfolio is predominantly from our Flavours range (sweet flavours, compounds, powder blends) in the Beverage space, with scope to cross sell bringing in other ingredients from the ADM Human Nutrition portoflio over time, including proteins, fibres and biotics. The role is the main driver for developing key accounts in the region: building relationships, opening new business, and staying close to market dynamics and the competition. We're looking for a dynamic salesperson ready to build a strong pipeline and grow with the business.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth of the Flavour business with key accounts across designated South Asia region and build a healthy pipeline of new opportunities by working closely with the regional P&L leaders, Business Managers, Marketing and the Flavour Creation and Application teams.
• Actively prospect and qualify new customers, turning early conversations into a steady pool of live opportunities rather than one-off wins.
• Manage the full sales cycle end to end, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to closing and delivering the topline.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers directly, understand their unmet needs, and stay ahead of where their business is heading.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Applications to co-create concepts, and present new ideas at customer innovation sessions alongside our CD&D/ and Marketing teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, navigate complex situations, and flag early where you need support to keep business moving.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales forecast, keep Salesforce hygiene clean, and track your KPIs through Power BI.
• Work closely with Customer Service to ensure accounts receivable are managed effectively and overdues stay under control.
• Work across business units to stay aligned on process, compliance and ADM's core values.
• The position requires extensive travel across the SA region.
• A positive, solution-oriented mindset with a drive to grow.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's in Food Science or a related field, with an MBA considered an advantage.
• 8-12 years' sales experience with a proven track record of developing key accounts in flavours, specialty ingredients or a related field.
• A curious, self-motivated and independent professional with a genuine self-starter mindset, someone who asks the extra question and actively pursues new opportunities.
• Established customer contacts in the food and beverage space are an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.Working knowledge of Salesforce, CRM tools and Power BI is a plus.
• Experience in a multinational or with global key accounts is a plus.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with the willingness to travel that key account work demands.
