Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to support the PTCED line and paint shop operations in our facility. You will perform lab testing, monitor absenteeism, and drive cost improvements through KAIZEN and I4 ideas while ensuring safe, engaged work environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or BE in Engineering with 3–7 years in manufacturing; familiarity with TPM, quality tools, and ED/paint defect troubleshooting is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Engineering.
• 3–7 years of manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Hands-on with PTCED line and paint shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PTCED output and its production related activities.
• Perform the various lab testing required for PTCED.
• Coordinate and provide supporting hand to customers (Internal and External).
• Monitor absenteeism on line by planning cell members' leave.
• Find cost effective solutions for consumables by monitoring, suggesting, implementing I4 ideas/Kaizens.
• Create a conducive environment for safe and engaged working.
• Maintain safety of equipment by monitoring interlocks.
• Hands-on experience of handling PTCED line; knowledge of paint shop equipment.
• Understand ED/paint defects and troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier processes.
• Knowledge of TPM, quality tools & systems and current industry best practices.
