Responsibilities

  • Drive daily production execution to achieve planned output, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, delivery, safety, morale, and productivity targets
  • Ensure zero end-of-line hold-ups through timely identification, resolution, and prevention of quality and process-related issues
  • Monitor and improve PQCDSM performance through Daily Work Management (DWM), timely escalation, and closure of operational issues
  • Coordinate effectively with Stores, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and other support functions to ensure uninterrupted production and rapid problem resolution
  • Lead implementation of new models, PPAPs, Engineering Releases (ERs), and process changes, ensuring completion of SOPs, manifests, OJTs, and related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with TPM, QMS, ISO/TS, OHSAS, AFSM, WSS, 5S, IPMS, QDMS, MQW, MQS, and MAPS standards, and support successful audit outcomes
  • Conduct process audits, resolve IRs, line balancing concerns, customer complaints, stockyard/gate audit findings, DPR, Card RPH, and line stoppage issues through structured problem-solving and RCA methodologies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Akraman projects, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, OIT, CIT, QC Stories, Poka-Yoke implementation, and innovation projects
  • Optimize shop-floor resources and equipment performance by minimizing breakdowns, reducing consumable usage, improving TPM practices, and ensuring proper disposal of non-conforming products and scrap
  • Develop workforce capability through training, skill enhancement, OJT execution, and coaching team members on automotive systems, quality tools, TPM, safety practices, and manufacturing excellence
