Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Maharashtra, India (Chakan) is seeking an experienced Mechanical engineer focused on sheet metal stamping and production. You will work on stamping projects, 3D process layouts, ECN feasibility, and drive improvements across COEs and core teams.

The role requires 1–7 years of experience in sheet metal press, stamping, tool & die, and manufacturing assembly, with strong process knowledge and manufacturing strategy implementation.

Qualifications

• 1 to 7 years of experience in Sheet Metal Press, Stamping, tool & die, Manufacturing Assembly, Production line.
• Experience in process knowledge, assembly, fixture design, and manufacturing strategy will be invaluable in driving efficiencies and innovation within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stamping projects and ensure TCP targets are met or exceeded.
• Support 3D process layout development and optimization.
• Evaluate ECN feasibility and implement improvements.
• Ensure first-time-right alignment between virtual and actual processes.
• Capture lessons learned and apply to upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with core team, CME Location team and group companies for sheet metal expertise sharing.
• Manage COE assigned activities.
