Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced Process Improvement Engineer to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes in our Pune/Maharashtra facilities.

You will drive standard times through time and method studies, develop manpower norms, and balance lines to maximize productivity and quality. The role calls for 5-10 years in manufacturing with strong expertise in Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and OEE monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology required.
• 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience in process optimization and standard operating times.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurement to set standard times.
• Develop manpower norms based on production needs.
• Perform line balancing for even workload across stations.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and bottlenecks.
• Monitor OEE and other manufacturing performance indicators.
• Plan production capacities and evaluate resource needs for current and future volumes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
• Drive waste reduction in motion, waiting, transportation, inventory, defects, and overprocessing.
• Assist new model introductions by defining process flows, manpower, and cycle times.
• Prepare plant layouts and workstation designs.
