Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited [Automotive and Farm Equipment Business] seeks a quality engineer to lead product and process audits, analyze customer complaints, and drive corrective actions. The role focuses on establishing process capability, standardizing quality procedures, and implementing kaizen improvements to ensure consistent product quality.

Candidate should have BE/BTech in Mechanical with 3–5 years of experience, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in QC tools, MS

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or BE (Bachelor of Engineering) is required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in related roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle overall product and process audits and initiate corrective actions.
• Analyze customer complaints, line rejections and perform supplier audits.
• Establish initial process capability (Pp/Ppk) and monitor Cp/Cpk.
• Define and standardize quality procedures and drive KAIZEN improvements.
• Implement Poka-Yokes to reduce human error and ensure SOP adherence.
• Monitor processes via periodic audits, SPC and MSA studies; support ECR/ECN processes.

Handling overall Product audit and Process audit.Analyzing customer complaints, line rejection, Supplier audit and taking corrective actions.Establishing Initial Process Capability (Pp/Ppk) and monitoring ongoing Process Capability (Cp/Cpk.Defining and standardizing all the Quality Procedure.Continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.Implementation of POKA-YOKES to eliminate human error.Monitor and ensuring adherence to processes with SOP/SOS by periodic process audit, SPC and MSA studies.Responsible for Engineering Change Management Process
