Job summary

Adani Power Ltd. is seeking a site engineer (Diploma/BE in Mechanical) for on-site boiler erection at our Raigarh plant.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising erection activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely commissioning in a heavy industrial setting. The candidate will work with engineering, procurement, and client teams to track progress, manage resources, and uphold HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor boiler erection activities as per project schedule.
• Coordinate installation of boiler pressure parts, boiler structure, ducts, piping, ESP, and auxiliaries.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, drawings, technical specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, and client teams for smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Supervise hydro testing, boiler light-up, steam blowing, and commissioning activities.
• Review erection methodologies, work permits, and risk assessments.
• Manage manpower, equipment, and material availability at site.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to statutory, environmental, and HSE requirements.
