Munters is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design professional in Mumbai to guide the drafting team on MT, Sugar, and FGD projects. You will review standard and custom drawings, resolve technical queries, and drive pre-order engineering activities with the engineering team.

You will also train new engineers, maintain standard drawings, and support intercompany engineering initiatives. This role involves collaboration with production and project teams and requires adherence to ISO standards.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for providing technical guidance to the drafting team for MT, Sugar and FGD projects.
• Review and provide support to the team on standard, customized and non-standard designs and resolve technical queries raised during drawing preparation.
• Handle major pre-order engineering activities, including mechanical TQs, TL-to-TL confirmation, preliminary column sketches and sales drawings.
• Provide support to drafting team in resolving engineering discrepancies/queries raised by Production, Project/Execution teams and customers, including support for customer complaints.
• Provide training to new team members on drawing preparation, product knowledge, past-order references and engineering documentation in compliance with ISO requirements.
• Maintain and control product standard drawings and support engineering standardization activities.
• Support and gradually take ownership of MUS/intercompany engineering-support projects.
• Act as a key second-level engineering resource supporting the AGM – Mechanical Design in day-to-day technical and team-related activities.
