Deputy Manager / Manager - Funds Settlement Team

Clearing & Settlement 15 Oct, 2025 Permanent 3 - 6 years experience in the Finance sector with BFSI/ Securities Market

Purpose of the role

To support in daily funds settlement activities, interaction with clearing banks, managing queries of members, collation of data and MIS reporting wherever required.

Key Responsibilities

• Fund Settlement Activities (Equity / Equity Derivatives / Currency Derivatives / Commodities / SLBM)
  • Understanding of end to end trade life cycle of products settled at NSE Clearing Ltd
  • In charge of ensuring daily collection of obligation, generation of reports for all Segments within defined SLA
  • Prompt escalation in case of any deviation
  • Checklist formulation and SOP formulation
  • Execute processes in a timely manner while adhering to Checklist.
  • Active Interaction with Internal departments in NSE/NCL and also External parties like Brokers, Banks, Regulators and Other exchanges/Clearing Corporations.
• Tracking Circulars & mails for Actionable items across all Exchanges/CCs
  • Mapping of Primary & Secondary settlement bank accounts as per request received from new members.
  • Shifting of Primary and Secondary settlement bank accounts as per request received from existing members.
• Offer for Sale / Tender Offer
  • Understanding of end to end trade life cycle including settlement
  • Settlement of Obligations with the members

(Additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on organisational requirements.)

Requirements

Educational Qualifications: CA/ MBA Finance Degree

Required Skills: Supervision of settlement operations in capital market

Preferred skills: Process Automation skillset, Understanding of Capital markets and settlement trade cycle
