Job summary

eClerx is hiring for Senior Analyst / AP M - Settlements to manage pre-matching, value date and fails management within a fast-paced financial operations environment in Navi Mumbai. You will coordinate with brokers, sales and trading desks to ensure accurate settlements and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2–4 years in settlements/OTC derivatives, strong numerical skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Night/EMEA shifts may apply as per business needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation (B.Com., BBA, BBM, BCA) or Post Graduation (M.Com., MBA, PGDM).
• 2–4 years of experience in Settlements and OTC derivatives.
• Baseline knowledge of finance, trade lifecycle, investment banking and derivatives.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Pre-matching, Value Date, fails management and settlement processes with accuracy.
• Maintain daily workflow documentation for regulatory/compliance purposes.
• Daily review of open trade fails and actioning discrepancies.
• Communicate with Brokers, Sales and Trading desks to resolve trade discrepancies.
• Match trades with broker-dealer counterparts and monitor external settlement systems.

We are hiring for SA & Team leads who have relevant experience into Trade Settlements -DTCC/Prematching/Pre-Settlements/Fail trade management for Navi Mumbai lcoation

Shit : Night/EMEA

The ideal candidate should possess strong business understanding of finance industry with special focus on Trade Lifecycle, trade/cash settlements. He/she should be good with numbers and ability to derive information from data with excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving. He/she should have strong capabilities in PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel and should be able to build domain expertise and lead from the front with the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of the team.

Settlements- Senior Analyst /APM Responsibilities

• Responsible for all components of the daily Pre-matching, Value Date, fails management & settlement and ensuring accurate and timely processing, through adherence of internal control policies and procedures, trade capture processes, including trade blotter reconciliations and resolution of exceptions.
• Maintains proper daily workflow documentation evidence for regulatory and compliance purposes. Satisfies documentation processes to ensure files are easily found, understood and are well maintained.
• Daily comparison of open trade fails and ensuring items are tracked and actioned.
• Daily interaction with external clients, Brokers, Sales desk, trading desk etc on trade discrepancies.
• Match trades with broker dealer counterparts.
• Monitor Euroclear/DTCC/Crest/SGX/Clear stream to ensure matching of all settlement items.
• Work with settlements team to monitor and resolve fails.
• Cover BAU functions within Middle Office and Settlements team if necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation (B.Com., BBA, BBM, BCA) / Post Graduation (M.Com., MBA, PGDM)
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Settlements and OTC derivative.
• Should have basic knowledge of finance, trade life cycle, investment banking, and derivatives.
• Should be good with logical and quantitative abilities.

• Ability to manage and complete specific tasks with minimal direction
• Should be able to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations – ability to read situations and act in minutes
• Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills and stay relevant to business demands
• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to network and earn confidence of diverse Client personnel plus interaction with and management of eClerx India based operations team.
