Job summary
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Manager - Maintenance for the MQS Paint line in Nashik. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance, optimize line performance, and drive TPM and safety initiatives on the shop floor.
You will troubleshoot painting robots, conveyors, pumps, fans, and ovens, while managing leave plans and cost-saving Kaizens to improve uptime and product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engg., Mechanical, Automobile or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance/manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance progress to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and profile painting robots (Durr) and conveyors, pumps, fans, blowers, ovens.
- Control absenteeism and plan leave to ensure smooth line operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through I4 ideas/Kaizens and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain safety, TPM, 5S and continuous improvement in the maintenance cell.
- Train associates and enhance skills; manage spare parts stock for insurance and consumables.

- Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance progress as per schedule in his area of equipment in order to attain good customer satisfaction
- Good hands on knowledge of conveyors (Roller bed, Buffer chain conveyor, Elevators)
- Good hands on knowledge of pumps, fans, blowers, Ovens
- Knowledge, profiling and troubleshooting of painting robots - Durr
- Monitor and control absenteeism on line by planning associates leave
- Find cost effective solution for the FOS Items by monitoring, suggesting, Participating, implementing I4 ideas/Kaizens
- Monitorand reduce the number of equipment breakdown concerns by reviewing the daily and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Create a conducive environment for safe and engaged working
- Monitor and improve Safety, TPM, 5S score of his cell through continuous improvements
- Improve the quality level and skill of associates in maintenance by continuous monitoring and nominating associates for various training
- Monitor and maintain spare parts stocks for both insurance and consumable spares
- Maintain safety of equipments by monitoring safety interlocks and by providing Pokayoke
