Job summary

Ferns N Petals in Gurugram, India is seeking a Chartered Accountant with strong FP&A and financial reporting experience. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, modeling and MIS reporting to support strategic decisions across business units.

You will analyze performance, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive cash flow planning and scenario analysis while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of insights.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
• Experience in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, modelling and variance analysis.
• Advanced MS Excel; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail-oriented with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports highlighting key metrics.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with business teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key business performance metrics and financial trends.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in coordination with various business teams.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and MIS reports to support management decision-making.
• Analyze revenue, costs, profitability, margins, and other key financial KPIs to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Support preparation of business performance reviews, management presentations, and financial updates for leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business performance, validate financial data, and improve financial visibility.
• Assist in cash flow planning, financial projections, and scenario analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, operational efficiency, and improved financial performance.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of financial reports and analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
• Relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modelling, and variance analysis.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with financial reporting tools and BI dashboards such as Power BI or Tableau would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial insights to business stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work with tight deadlines.
