Job summary

Nexus Malls in Amritsar is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasts and audits. Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Conduct variance analysis of actual performance against budgets.

• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly and annual books.
• Coordinate statutory, internal, tax and other audits.
• Review GL reconciliations, payables and receivables.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and adherence to policies.

• Monitor cash flow and working capital for efficiency.
• Identify cost optimization and process improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, monitor, and analyze monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.


• Conduct variance analysis of actual performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key business drivers.


• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning processes.


• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial books.


• Coordinate and manage Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, Tax Audits, and other regulatory audits.


• Review and monitor accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger reconciliations.


• Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and ensure adherence to company policies.


• Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review and decision-making.


• Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund utilization to ensure financial efficiency.


• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Corporate Finance.
