Mahindra And Mahindra Limited in India seeks a Deputy Manager - Engine Process to drive quality in manufacturing through structured processes and advanced quality tools.

You will lead process planning for changes, manage Capex-driven PQCDS improvements, and push productivity and TPM initiatives across engine production lines.

Candidates should have 5–8 years in manufacturing, with 3–4 years in process engineering, and a BE in Mechanical or Production.

Competenze

• 5–8 years in manufacturing, with 3–4 years in process engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in quality tools (PFMEA, CAPA, SPC) and PPAP, process mapping.
• Experience in capex budgeting and productivity improvement.

• Quality assurance: embed quality in processes using PFMEA, Mistake proofing, SPC and CAPA.
• Resolve critical and chronic quality issues.
• Plan processes for changes in existing products and support productionisation of new products.
• Budget capex to improve PQCDS by equipment changes.

Deputy Manager - Engine Process Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Quality assurance - build Quality in processes through PFMEA, Mistake proofing, SPC, CAPA, etc. for FTR, ETR and DCE.


• Resolution of critical and chronic Quality issues.


• Process planning for changes in existing products (including CRE) and support productionisation of new products.


• Capex budgeting to improve PQCDS by replacement /addition of equipment with appropriate technology.


• Monitor and control implementation of planned Capex from need justification till commissioning of equipment and MOP achievement.


• Productivity improvement - Manpower optimisation and capacity enhancement.


• Lean manufacturing (Lead time reduction, VAR improvement.


• implementation of TPM initiatives.


• Innovations, Continuous improvement, Problem solving.


• TQM - Ensure adherence and improvement in Quality systems - PPAP, Process Mapping and Process flow, control Plan, SOP, etc.


• Cost saving through improvement projects.

Experience
