Job summary

Adani Solar in India seeks a Shift Engineer - PECVD to oversee operation and maintenance of PECVD equipment during shifts, ensuring production efficiency and high equipment availability. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, optimize deposition parameters, and implement CAPA plans, while maintaining quality records and safety standards.

The role requires leading a team of technicians and coordinating with suppliers and maintenance contractors for continuous improvement in the diffusion area.

Qualifications

• Min 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in PECVD operations within the solar manufacturing industry, focusing on process optimization and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain PECVD systems to ensure optimal performance and reliable deposition processes.
• Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly, analyze issues to prevent future failures.
• Optimize PECVD parameters (gas flow rates, temperature, pressure) to achieve uniform and high-quality thin films, improving solar cell efficiency.
• Implement CAPA plans for major breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures to enhance equipment reliability.
• Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness, uniformity, and adherence, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during PECVD operations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.
• Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the diffusion area.

Job Purpose:

The Job purpose for the role of Shift Engineer - PECVD in cell maintenance is overseeing the operation and maintenance of PECVD equipment during shifts, ensuring production efficiency, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining high standards of equipment performance and Equipment Availability.

Key Responsibilities of Role:

PECVD Machine Management and Operation:

• Operate and maintain PECVD systems to ensure optimal performance and reliable deposition processes.

Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting

• Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly, analyze issues to prevent future failures.

Process Optimization
