Job summary

Adani Transmission (ATL) is seeking a Shift Engineer for PECVD process maintenance in its solar cell fabrication area in India. The role involves supervising PECVD operation, troubleshooting, and ensuring high equipment availability and deposition quality.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of hands-on PECVD experience and a background in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical engineering (B.Tech/ Diploma). BE/BTech is a desired qualification.

The Job purpose for the role of Shift Engineer - PECVD in cell maintenance is overseeing the operation and maintenance of PECVD equipment during shifts, ensuring production efficiency, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining high standards of equipment performance and Equipment Availability.

Educational Qualification

• B.Tech/ Diploma - Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical
• Desired Qualification : BE/BTech

Work Experience (Range of years)

• Min 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in PECVD operations within the solar manufacturing industry, focusing on process optimization and equipment maintenance.

Certification

PECVD Machine Management and Operation

• Operate and maintain PECVD systems to ensure optimal performance and reliable deposition processes.

Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting

• Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly, analyze issues to prevent future failures.

Process Optimization

• Optimize PECVD parameters (gas flow rates, temperature, pressure) to achieve uniform and high-quality thin films, improving solar cell efficiency.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Implement CAPA plans for major breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures to enhance equipment reliability.

Quality Control

• Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness, uniformity, and adherence, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during PECVD operations to maintain a safe work environment.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.

Team Leadership and Training

• Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the diffusion area.
