Job summary

Adani Transmission is seeking a PECVD Process Engineer to operate and maintain PECVD systems, drive process optimization, and ensure quality in solar manufacturing. The role focuses on reliable deposition, CAPA execution, and safety compliance.

You will lead and train technicians, document critical parameters, and collaborate with the Cell Maintenance leadership to improve reliability and efficiency of the diffusion area.

Qualifications

• Min 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in PECVD operations within the solar manufacturing industry.
• Focus on process optimization and equipment maintenance.
• Adherence to safety and regulatory requirements in PECVD environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain PECVD systems to ensure optimal performance and reliable deposition processes.
• Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly and analyze issues to prevent future failures.
• Optimize PECVD parameters to achieve uniform thin films and improve solar cell efficiency.
• Implement CAPA plans for major breakdowns and preventive measures.
• Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness and uniformity, ensuring quality.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory requirements are followed during PECVD operations.
• Maintain records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and outputs.
• Lead and train a team of technicians or operators, fostering safety and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the diffusion area.

Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting

• Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly, analyze issues to prevent future failures.

Process Optimization:

• Optimize PECVD parameters (gas flow rates, temperature, pressure) to achieve uniform and high-quality thin films, improving solar cell efficiency.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA):

• Implement CAPA plans for major breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures to enhance equipment reliability.

Quality Control:

• Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness, uniformity, and adherence, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during PECVD operations to maintain a safe work environment.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.

Team Leadership and Training:

• Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
