Job summary

Snapdeal is seeking a finance professional to own FP&A, drive P&L analysis and forecasting for key segments, and build robust financial models.

You will analyze NMV, revenue and margins, prepare MIS and dashboards, partner with cross-functional teams, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability improvement.

Qualifications

• CA, MBA (Finance) or CFA preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in FP&A or related roles.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail or marketplace businesses is a plus.
• Strong Excel, financial modelling and analytical skills.

• Drive business performance tracking, P&L analysis and forecasting for key business segments.
• Analyse key metrics including NMV, revenue, contribution margin, logistics and marketing costs.
• Prepare MIS, business reviews and management dashboards, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Partner with Business, Operations, Marketing and other teams to evaluate financial impact of initiatives.
• Build financial models and conduct scenario analysis / ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, profitability improvement and process automation.

Expected Qualification & Experience

• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Financial Planning, Investment Banking, Consulting or a similar role.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, consumer internet, retail or marketplace businesses would be an advantage.
• Strong Excel / financial modelling and analytical skills; SQL / Power BI experience is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, communication and stakeholder management skills.
