Job summary

G R Infraprojects Limited is seeking a Senior Planning professional to monitor projects per plan, revenue plan and cash flow plan, and update weekly progress. You will support the Project Manager, Director of Operations and Planning team at the corporate office in pre-design planning, including WBS and cash flow planning, and own these plans through project closure.

Role requires a Graduate in engineering with 8+ years in Planning & Billing for INR 500 cr+ projects; familiarity with SAP data

Qualifications

• Graduate in engineering, preferably Post Graduation in equivalent specialized stream.
• Min 8 yrs in Planning & Billing function in construction projects of INR 500 cr+ value.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor project plans, revenue and cash flow; update weekly based on progress.
• Support planning and CO teams in design, WBS, revenue and cash flow planning; own plans till project closure.
• Plan materials, machinery and resources; raise red flags on deviations.

Job Description:

Role Purpose

• The incumbent to this role is responsible for monitoring the project as per the project plan, revenue plan and cash flow plan, and weekly updating the corresponding plans as per the actual progress.
• They support the Project Manager, Director – Operations and the Planning team at the corporate office in the post-win and pre-design project planning (including work breakdown structure, revenue planning & cash flow planning) exercise and then own these plans till the closure of the project.
• They are responsible for planning of material, machinery, resource calculations on a regular basis and raising red flags to the Project Head and the Planning team at the CO in case of deviations.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Monitoring –
  • Provide inputs to the Corporate Office during the development of the project plan.
  • Undertake completion of all project planning activities as per the fixed timelines.
  • Support the planning team at the corporate office in cash flow planning, by providing accurate details and data.
  • Ensure standardization of templates and processes by working closely with the Corporate Office.
  • Ensure adherence to finalized guidelines and makes necessary changes to the plan, based on the on-ground realities.
  • Ensure adherence to all contractual terms and supportthe Project Head/Client Obligation Manager in drafting contractual correspondences with the client.
• Reporting –
  • Capture accurate data in the standard finalized reporting templates.
  • Analyse captured data and share the insights with the Project Headand Corporate Office.
  • Analyse the planned vs actual progress for the project, identify deviations with the root cause analysis of the deviation and raise red flags to relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive adherence to the defined guidelines and ensure all data is captured in the SAP systems.
• People Management –
  • Facilitate development and growth of direct and indirect reportees while keeping track of overall employee engagement and attrition.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

• Graduate in engineering, preferably Post Graduation in equivalent specialized stream.
