Job summary

Le Human Resources Solutions in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Deputy Manager/Manager Planning with 10 to 15 years of experience in Industrial/EPC projects, including data centres. You will develop and manage schedules, cash flow, and EVM metrics, ensuring milestones are met using MS Project and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities include coordination with clients and internal teams, resource planning, and preparing dashboards and recovery plans for schedule slippage.

Qualifications

• Must have EPC project experience – industrial or data centre.
• Experience in schedule planning, cash flow and EVM concepts.
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of schedules aligned to contract, milestone planning.
• Prepare all levels of project schedules and cash flow, monitor progress.
• Material procurement with baseline plan and S curves; long lead items.
• Synchronize site activities to meet schedule; plan resources accordingly.
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly progress; track plan vs. actual; EVM analysis.
• Prepare project dashboards; lead meetings; communicate status to management.
• Delay analysis and recovery planning using MS Project & Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, and site team.

Job Description

Sr Planning Engineer/ Manager 10 to 15 Years Experience,

Key Accountabilities

Must have experience in Industrial/ Data Centre Project work

1. Preparation of Schedules in line with contract. Must have thorough knowledge of project planning and scheduling practices, calculation methods/ software, standards. and procedures. Mile stone Planning

(Level L1 to L4 Detail Micro Planning With Resource loading + Cost – MS Project & Primavera P6 must)

2. Has the capability to: prepare all levels of project schedules & Cash flow monitor project progress; Critical path analysis; and to ensure project milestones are met.

3. Material Procurement along with Baseline Plan, meet the deadline, preparation of S curve for Procurement, Long Lead Procurement Planning. Tracking Coordination with Purchase, Technical team & Project team.

4. Synchronize all the activities of site to meet the schedule. Plan the resources in line with inputs from site team

5. Monitor daily, weekly & monthly progress. Financial performance and resources usage, –Plan Vs Actual. Tracking in MS Project & Primavera P6 Must

Prepare Project Dash Board, Conducting, project meetings, alarm to project team regarding project progress EVM Analysis

6. Delay Analysis - Study & Identification of mutual contract obligations, monitor project progress according schedule. Prepare data history for delay analysis (EOT). Delay Analysis, Preparation of Catchup Plan must be in MS Project & Primavera P6. Has the ability to present project schedule status to management and to prepare recovery plans in case of schedule slippage

7. Calculating Resource planning - Manpower Requirement (of various trades) & Machinery Requirement. Create variance reports (Schedule Variance and Cost Variance) at various stages of the project to analyses deviations, EVM reports, support to Cost Control team.

8. Coordination with Client/ Consultant/ Site Team

Abilities Needed

Good Communication & Analytical skill, Polite nature, Team work

Good knowledge of engineering/ design scope, PEB, MEP work procedure, job working procedures, good project control practices in planning, scheduling, presentation and overall awareness of projects in industrial construction. Infra project.

Must have completed EPC Project experience – 1/ 2 Project (Industrial Project)

Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions.

Good report writing abilities

Education - B Tech/ BE - Civil + M tech/ NICMAR

CTC- As per experience

Key Skills – MS Office, Advance Excel, MS Project 2016/2019, Primavera P6, -8.2 To 20.12, AutoCAD - 2017, 2021.

Experience in factory project, commercial and industrial project, data centre project, hostel project, warehouse projects preferred.
