Qualifications

  • Postgraduate/MBA/CA Inter/CA or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
  • 7–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or commercial roles.
  • Experience in infrastructure, construction, real estate, or EPC sectors preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract management and accounting for real estate/infrastructure.
  • Proficient in SAP/Oracle/NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial oversight of land and infrastructure operations.
  • Review, draft, and manage financial clauses in site contracts.
  • Coordinate with legal, procurement and project teams for governance.
  • Monitor budgets, expenditures and fund utilization.
  • Prepare financial reports and budget variance analyses.
  • Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for land/infrastructure transactions.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

About the Role:

In this role, you will lead the financial oversight of land and infrastructure operations by ensuring strong governance, compliance, and contract management. Working closely with legal, procurement, and project teams, you will help optimize financial performance while maintaining the highest standards of accountability and regulatory compliance.


What you’ll do:

  • Manage the financial aspects of Site Construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and statutory regulations.
  • Review, draft, and manage financial clauses in Site Contract/agreements, co-relate BOQ, vendor contracts, and infrastructure-related contracts.
  • Coordinate with legal, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth execution and financial governance of contracts.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and fund utilization while ensuring cost optimization with Quality checks with the help of Engineering Team.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, project cost analyses, and budget variance reports for leadership.
  • Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors for project & construction related financial reviews and checks.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for land and infrastructure transactions.
  • Identify financial and compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to infrastructure projects.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, vendors, and government authorities for financial documentation and compliance matters.
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls for infrastructure operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate/MBA/CA Inter/CA or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or commercial functions, preferably in infrastructure, construction, real estate, or EPC organizations.
  • Strong understanding of real estate and infrastructure contract management and accounting thereof.
  • Hands-on experience in internal/external audits and statutory compliance including Labour Laws.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, taxation, and financial controls.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and project cost management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
