Job summary

RAIN is seeking a Quality Assurance specialist with hands-on NABL exposure and full familiarity with ISO, TQM, OSHA, EMP, EIA and EHS standards. You will liaise with process control teams to confirm quality parameters for raw meal, clinker and finished cement products, ensuring BIS and ISO 9001 compliance.

You will lead quality initiatives at the cement plant, design raw mixes per kiln behavior, and run R&D trials for new cement and concrete products.

Responsibilities

• NABL quality standards exposure including ISO, TQM, OSHA, EMP, EIA and EHS management
• Liaise with process control operatives on quality control parameters for raw meal, clinker and final products
• Ensure compliance to BIS specifications for OPC & PPC cement and ISO 9001 for quality management
• Lead and guide quality-related aspects at the plant site
• Plan raw mix design per kiln behaviour to achieve best production and cement quality
• Carry out trials for R&D on new cement and concrete products
• Implement quality management systems, plans and controls to meet plant objectives
• Plan and ensure desired limestone quantity/quality per raw mix design and fuel use
• Oversee inspection of raw materials (limestone, laterite, coal, pet coke, gypsum, fly ash) to meet specs

Responsibilities

• Hand-on work experience in NABL and full exposure of quality standards, ISO, TQM, OSHA, EMP, EIA and EHS management.
• Liaise with process control operatives with regards to the quality control parameters for Semi - finished (Raw meal and Clinker) and final products.
• Ensure full compliance To BIS specifications for OPC & PPC cement, and ISO 9001 specifications for quality management.
• Best quality cement should be made as per the requirement of customers & with the availability of raw materials and minimizes the cot - effective.
• Leading and guiding quality related aspects at the plant site.
• Raw Mix design preparation as per the kiln behaviors to develop best production and good quality cement.
• Carry out different trails related to Research & Development for development of new products related to cement & Concrete.
• Implementing quality management systems, quality plans, and controls to achieve plant objectives.
• Planning and ensuring desired quantity and quality of limestone on the basis of different raw mix design and on different fuel consumption.
• Oversee the inspection of raw materials, such as limestone, Laterite, coal, pet coke, Gypsum, Fly Ash and others to ensure they meet required specifications and are fit for usage in the process.
