Job summary

Aditya Birla Group's Cement division seeks an experienced Process & Quality Engineer to supervise QA activities, monitor process control, and ensure product quality across raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.

The role entails operating VRM/coal mill, driving cost optimization, compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with BIS regulatory requirements while delivering MIS and process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry is required.
• 7 years of relevant experience in QA and process control.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control: supervise, monitor, and control the quality of raw materials, process intermediates, and finished products as per plan through sampling and testing.
• Legal and statutory compliance: manage product licenses, BIS requirements, regular statutory fees, and related coordination.
• Operational management: operate and optimize VRM/coal mill to achieve targeted production and power consumption.
• Process maintenance: identify areas for improvement and execute proposals for modifications and productivity improvements.
• Process expense control: ensure operations remain within budgeted norms and implement improvement actions for cost optimization.
• Raw material unloading and feeding: oversee unloading and feeding of raw materials, maintain records, and generate MIS.
• Safety compliance: ensure 100% compliance with safety standards and related recommendations.
