Job summary

Jalan Infrastructure in India is seeking a Plant Operations Engineer to lead the installation, erection and commissioning of HMP, WMM, Batching, Crusher and Chilling Plants. This role demands hands-on technical leadership on site and close coordination with clients and suppliers.

You will prepare plant layouts and installation schedules, manage production and daily operation plans to meet project requirements, monitor plant performance, costs, energy use and quality, and ensure safety,

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, erection and commissioning of HMP, WMM, Batching, Crusher and Chilling Plants.
• Prepare plant layouts, installation schedules, manpower and resource plans.
• Manage plant production and daily operational schedules to meet project/customer requirements.
• Monitor production, plant parameters, productivity, fuel/power consumption and operating costs.
• Ensure quality control, testing, calibration and compliance with client/OEM/statutory requirements.
• Monitor raw material consumption, reconciliation, wastage and production costing.
• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA and utility systems.
• Ensure availability and commissioning of DG, EB power, water supply, loaders and other supporting utilities.
• Manage manpower, contractors, training, shift planning and overall plant discipline.
• Ensure HSE, statutory and environmental compliance and maintain a safe workplace.
• Control inventory, spares, consumables and plant operating budgets.
• Prepare and present MIS reports covering production, cost, maintenance, quality, safety and plant performance to senior management.
• Drive plant efficiency, cost reduction, preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
