Job summary

Shoppers Stop is seeking an experienced retail professional to lead a store team in India. You will set and achieve sales objectives, develop and monitor sales plans, and ensure the floor is aligned with the planogram.

The role requires at least 2 years of team handling in retail and a Graduate/MBA. Focus areas include customer service, merchandise presentation, inventory control and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of team handling experience, preferably in retail.
• Graduate or MBA degree required.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve the sales objective.
• Develop, communicate and monitor sales plan to achieve targets.
• Ensure floor is set as per planogram.
• Ensure manpower availability at all times.
• Ensure merchandise is stacked properly for customers.
• Communicate and replenish the Visual Merchandising plan.
• Inventory tracking for top styles in each sub-dept.
• Provide feedback to merchandiser.
• Ensure prompt customer service.
• Team management and development.
• Identify training needs of subordinates.
• Conduct competition surveys.
• Monitor shrinkage controls.
