Job summary

Apollo Health and Lifestyle (AHLL) in Gurugram is seeking an experienced dentist to oversee a busy dental clinic. The role combines clinical excellence with independent clinic management, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

You will lead a team, develop treatment plans, explain options and costs, and coordinate with specialists to deliver comprehensive care while driving patient satisfaction and clinic growth.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the day-to-day operations of the dental clinic.
• Diagnose and treat patients by providing comprehensive dental care in accordance with accepted clinical protocols.
• Perform routine dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, scaling and polishing, preventive care, and other procedures within the scope of practice.
• Prepare individualized treatment plans and clearly explain treatment options, procedures, costs, and expected outcomes to patients.
• Refer patients requiring advanced or specialty treatment to the appropriate consultant/specialist and coordinate continuity of care.
• Ensure timely patient follow-up to monitor treatment outcomes, improve treatment acceptance, and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Ensure compliance with the organization's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate effectively with dental assistants, reception staff, and visiting consultants to ensure seamless clinic operations.
• Monitor clinic inventory and communicate requirements for consumables, instruments, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and organizational meetings as required.
• Contribute to patient retention and practice growth by delivering an exceptional patient experience.
