Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a capable Demand Planner to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to guide business decisions. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize inventory, and contribute to growth.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent English communication, and experience in planning across Demand, Production/Distribution, and Materials.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Planning processes: Demand, Production/Distribution, Material.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment.
• Experience in the CPG sector as a Supply/Demand planner.
• Knowledge of MRP and Production planning.
• Proficiency with query/reporting tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Material and Production Planning for a market/cluster.
• Perform end-to-end inventory analytics to reduce wastage and excess inventory.
• Determine RPM norms and front-end discussions with Factory Material planners.
• Develop tools with IT support and apply RPA in delivery processes.
• Support supply chain collaboration and deliver key KPIs and management reports.
• Analyze plan failures with IT and internal teams to implement fixes.
• Manage a team and share market best practices with delivery teams.

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a talented and driven Demand Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets to drive informed business decisions. You will work closely & Directly with the Client & cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will contribute to our company's growth.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Lead the Material Planning/Production Planning team for a market/cluster
• End to End inventory analytics (ex-Business wastage, excess inventory) including target of reducing inventory
• RPM Norm determination
• Front end the discussion with Factory Material planners
• Developing tools with the help of IT teams
• Apply RPA in the existing delivery
• Supply collaboration
• Deliver all the business KPIs agreed
• Provide insights through various management reports
• Analyze the reason for plan failures and work with IT and internal team to fix the issues
• Manage the group of team members
• Bring best practice of market to the delivery
• Work with transition and transformation teams to deliver best practices to the client

YOUR PROFILE

• Complete knowledge of Planning (Demand, Production/Distribution and Material Planning processes)
• Good in analytics
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English
• Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment
• Working in CPG sector as a Supply Planner or demand planner
• Application of Supply chain principles with extensive knowledge in MRP & Production planning
• Skills in query/reporting tools , spreadsheet applications and presentations
