Job summary

reputed company seeks a Demand Planner III to translate business plans into a global 24-month demand plan. You will own the Demand SIOP process and guide cross-functional reviews with senior leaders across Product Management, Finance, and Supply Chain.

This remote U.S. role prioritizes East Coast time, requires 5+ years in planning, strong data analytics, and experience with Power BI/Power Query to drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Demand Planning and SIOP / S&OP processes in a cross-functional, global environment.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority across multiple teams.
  • Experience presenting demand insights to Director- and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of demand management and planning principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
  • Diplomatic, collaborative approach in a matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency with Office; experience in data visualization & BI tools such as Power BI & Power Query.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
  • Experience in life sciences, chemicals, or regulated industries is preferred, but not required.
  • Certifications such as IBP, APICS, Six Sigma are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the global Demand SIOP process.
  • Partner with Product Management, Finance, and Supply Planning to develop a 24-month demand plan.
  • Influence stakeholders to base plans on data-driven assumptions.
  • Drive transparency and confidence in the demand plan through analytics and facilitation.
  • Recommend demand plans that integrate forecasts, inputs, portfolio, and new product introductions.
  • Facilitate monthly SIOP Demand Reviews across functions and executive stakeholders.
  • Own the demand plan and results, including launches and lifecycle transitions.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and value-add, translating results into actions.
  • Standardize demand planning processes and enhance tools and data availability.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a reputed company field.
  • 5 years' experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or a reputed company field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Demand Planning and SIOP / S&OP processes in a cross-functional, global environment.
