Job summary

Acuity Analytics is a global, tech-led company delivering research, data, analytics and AI-enabled solutions to financial institutions and corporates. The Delivery Lead role sits in Private Markets, overseeing fund accounting, NAV review, investor reporting and client management.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of Private Equity Fund Accounting experience with strong Excel skills and familiarity with Investran, Geneva or eFront.

Qualifications

• Experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting and related reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple funds and investor communications.
• Strong technical skills in Excel and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Review NAV and financials for private equity and hybrid funds.
• Perform cash tracking, reconciliations and allocations.

Basic Information

Job Purpose

The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review of NAV and Financials of the Private equity and Hybrid Funds that include recording Journal Entries, preparing monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financials, processing payments, preparing investor notices and various client reporting.


• Cash tracking and reconciliation


• Review of investor level allocations


• Fund expense allocations


• Review Capital Call and distribution workings along with notices and release to respective investors.


• Develop various KPIs to be followed and ensure all necessary controls are put in place in the process.


• Creating / updating fund track record and reconciling the data using cash flow notices


• Managing the client relationships for the Funds and individually handle the deliverable requirements on daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly basis.


• Onboard new PE/Hybrid Funds in the accounting platforms (Investran, Geneva and eFront)


• Preparation of quarterly reports to investors on the funds’ and portfolio companies’ performance (comprising NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs, costs and investors’ capital accounts)


• Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improve the process efficiency and team productivity.


• Cash reconciliation for PE Funds


• Setting up SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) by laying down the processes and internal check frameworks to achieve the overall objective


• Client Management: Understanding project request, negotiate deadline and handling client queries


• Project Management: Project structuring, planning, conceptualizing output

Key Competencies:

• CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA from a top tier business school


• 3-7 years of strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting


• Basic knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, Venture Capital, PE Co-investment, PE Fund of Funds


• Strong in finance fundamentals and analytical skills


• Excellent in MS Excel to process varied data sets


• Knowledge of databases including Investran, Ilevel, Efront is an added advantage


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines


• Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academic excellence with project management, client relationship management, analytical, and teamwork skills


• Good to have: Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus.
