Job summary

Moodys Analytics is seeking dedicated professionals for its Private Equity and Private Credit financial modelling team with offices in Gurgaon, Pune, and BLR. You will track valuations, commitments, and fund performance while preparing investor reporting and updates.

The role emphasizes ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality analytics on a quarterly basis to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• MBA or other post-graduate or professional degree from a reputed institute.
• Knowledge of Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Financial Services Industry (FSI) trends.
• Strong MS Office skills, esp. Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with databases including CapIQ and Preqin is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership and deliver projects as per client requirements and timelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Credit, Co-investment, Fund of Funds is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Track quarterly valuations from Capital accounts and roll forward valuations using cash flow notices.
• Track Original Commitments and unfunded obligations using cash flow notices and Capital accounts.
• Capture fund valuation data (investment cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, IRR) and KPIs.
• Analyze PE Funds performance via fund literature and reports.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports on fund and portfolio performance (NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs, costs, capital accounts).
• Track operational KPIs and provide quarterly updates.
• Calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and perform attribution and value-creation analysis.
• Manage client relationships for the Funds and handle deliverables on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job description

We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals with strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Private Equity and Private Credit financial modelling team based in Gurgaon/Pune/BLR.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Track quarterly valuations from Capital accounts, rolling forward Valuations using Cash Flow notices
• Track Original Commitments, unfunded obligations using Cashflows notices, Capital accounts
• Capture fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized / unrealized value, gross / net multiple, gross / net IRR and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt etc.
• Analyze PE Funds performance by going through fund literature such as quarterly/financial reports
• Preparation of quarterly reports to investors on the funds and portfolio companies performance (comprising NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs, costs and investors capital accounts)
• Tracking the performance of operational KPIs and operational updates on quarterly basis
• Calculating fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and performing various fund analytics such as attribution and value creation analysis
• Managing the client relationships for the Funds and individually handle the deliverable requirements on daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly basis.
• Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improve the process efficiency and team productivity

Key Competencies: -

• MBA or other Post-Graduate or Professional Degree from a reputed Institute
