Job summary

Acuity Analytics in Pune is seeking a Private Equity Fund Accounting Analyst with 3-7 years of experience to join the Private Markets division. You will handle NAV reviews, investor allocations and financial reporting for PE/Hybrid Funds, supporting top-tier clients globally.

You'll work with Investran, Geneva and eFront, leverage strong Excel skills, and engage in data-driven process improvements while managing client deliverables under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• CFA, Chartered Accountant and MBA from a top-tier school are preferred.
• 3-7 years of strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting.
• Knowledge of Private Equity, Venture Capital, co-investments and PE Funds of Funds.
• Strong finance fundamentals and analytical skills; MS Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Investran, Geneva or eFront is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review NAV and Financials of private equity and hybrid funds; prepare journal entries and investor notices.
• Cash tracking and reconciliation; review investor level allocations and fund expenses.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports (NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs) and maintain client Deliverables.
• Onboard new funds in accounting platforms (Investran, Geneva, eFront).
• Develop KPIs and implement process improvements; ensure controls and SOPs are in place.
• Client management and timely delivery of requests under tight deadlines.

Job Purpose

The jobrole is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growingsegments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity/investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested inworking with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review of NAV and Financials of the Private equity and HybridFunds that include recording Journal Entries, preparingmonthly/Quarterly/Annual Financials, processing payments, preparing investornotices and various client reporting.
• Cash tracking and reconciliation
• Review of investor level allocations
• Fund expense allocations
• Review Capital Call and distribution workings along with noticesand release to respective investors.
• Develop various KPIs to be followed and ensure all necessarycontrols are put in place in the process.
• Creating / updating fund track record and reconciling the datausing cash flow notices
• Managing the client relationships for the Funds and individuallyhandle the deliverable requirements on daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly basis.
• Onboard new PE/Hybrid Funds in the accounting platforms(Investran, Geneva and eFront)
• Preparation of quarterly reports to investors on the funds’ andportfolio companies’ performance (comprising NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs, costs andinvestors’ capital accounts)
• Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improvethe process efficiency and team productivity.
• Cash reconciliation for PE Funds
• Setting up SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) by laying down theprocesses and internal check frameworks to achieve the overall objective
• Client Management: Understanding project request, negotiatedeadline and handling client queries
• CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA from a top tier business school
• 3-7 years of strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, VentureCapital, PE Co-investment, PE Fund of Funds
• Strong in finance fundamentals and analytical skills
• Excellent in MS Excel to process varied data sets
• Knowledge of databases including Investran, Ilevel, Efront is anadded advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academicexcellence with project management, client relationship management, analytical,and teamwork skills
• Good to have: Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical businessapplications is a plus.
