Job summary

Acuity Analytics in India is seeking a seasoned Private Markets Fund Accounting professional to support Investran system administration, fund setup, and reporting across global PE funds.

You will manage NAV review, journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and investor communications while driving process improvements and client satisfaction. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for tight deadlines and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• CFA, CA or MBA from a top-tier business school.
• 4–9 years of strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting and Investran system admin.
• Understanding of Private Equity, Venture Capital, PE Co-investment, PE Fund of Funds.
• Strong finance fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Excellent MS Excel skills to process varied data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Core system administration & functional support: create/manage entities, investors, GL accounts.
• User access & issue resolution: permissioning, troubleshooting with FIS/Investran support.
• Reporting support (SSRS): maintain, tweak, and enhance existing reports; basic new templates.
• Data management & remediation: bulk updates, corrections, data quality fixes.
• Operational support: run existing reports and support business requests.
• System maintenance & environments: manage UAT refreshes, validate connections, testing cycles.
• Upgrade support: assist with quarterly upgrades, testing, and validation cycles.
• Review of NAV and Financials of the Private equity and Hybrid Funds including journal entries, monthly/quarterly/annual financials, payments, investor notices and client reporting.
• Review Capital Call and distribution workings along with notices to investors.
• Managing the client relationships for the Funds and deliverable requirements on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
• Onboard new PE/Hybrid Funds in the accounting platforms (Investran).
• Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Setting up SOPs by laying down processes and internal check frameworks.

The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

The role would involve:

• Core system administration & functional support: create/manage entities, investors, GL accounts
• User access & issue resolution: permissioning, troubleshooting with FIS/Investran support
