Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and desoldering of electronic components and PCB assemblies.
• Handle manual soldering, wire soldering and component replacement as directed.
• Inspect solder joints for correct connection, strength and quality.
• Identify and rectify dry joints, solder bridges and loose connections.
• Use soldering irons, hot-air stations and flux safely for rework tasks.
• Perform PCB rework and repair as required.
• Use multimeter to check continuity and electrical connections.
• Follow ESD precautions while handling components and PCBs.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S, SOP, quality and safety standards.
• Record defects and coordinate with Quality and Production teams for issue resolution.

• Identify and rectify soldering defects such as dry joints, solder bridges, insufficient solder, and loose connections.
• Use soldering irons, hot-air stations, flux, solder wire, and other rework tools safely.
• Perform PCB rework and repair as required.
• Use basic testing equipment such as multimeter to check continuity and electrical connections.
• Follow ESD precautions while handling electronic components and PCBs.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S, SOP, quality, and safety standards.
• Record defects and coordinate with Quality and Production teams for issue resolution.
