Job summary

EY invites an experienced Integration Architect to lead enterprise integration for clients, leveraging IBM ACE and CP4I. You’ll design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure solutions with a hands-on approach and architectural leadership.

In this role, you’ll mentor teams, define standards, and engage with clients as a trusted adviser—driving modernization, API-led integration, and microservices across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with enterprise integration.
• Hands-on experience with IBM ACE applications.
• Exposure to CP4I and containerized integration platforms.
• Knowledge of API-led, SOA, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with Kafka and event streaming, asynchronous integration patterns.
• Understanding of REST, SOAP, APIs, MQ, JSON, XML, and data transformation.
• Security concepts including OAuth, JWT, TLS/SSL, authentication and authorization.
• Experience with cloud, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and production support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable enterprise integration solutions using IBM ACE and related technologies.
• Hands-on development of IBM ACE applications and complex integration flows.
• Provide architecture leadership across integration, API management, messaging, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Define integration standards, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
• Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to architectural and engineering standards.
• Lead technical discussions with clients as a trusted technical advisor and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in solutioning, estimations, proposals, architecture reviews, and client presentations.
• Drive delivery excellence by identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with BAs and POs to translate requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Contribute across SDLC from requirements to production support.

Integration Architect – 15+ Years Experience

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Integration Architect with 15+ years of IT experience to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions. The candidate should be hands‑on with IBM ACE, have exposure to IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), and be capable of acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, resilient enterprise integration solutions using IBM ACE and related integration technologies.
• Be hands‑on in designing and developing IBM ACE applications, including complex integration flows, APIs, messaging, transformations, and error‑handling frameworks.
• Provide architecture leadership across integration, API management, messaging, event‑driven architecture, and microservices.
• Define integration standards, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams and ensure adherence to architecture and engineering standards.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and act as a trusted technical advisor, understanding business needs and translating them into practical technology solutions.
• Participate in solutioning, estimations, technical proposals, architecture reviews, and client presentations.
• Drive delivery excellence by identifying technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand requirements and translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Understand and contribute to key BA and delivery activities, including requirements analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, planning, estimation, and stakeholder management.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the complete SDLC—from requirements and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Required Technical Skills

• 15+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in enterprise integration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
• Experience in designing and developing IBM ACE applications.
• Exposure to IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) and containerized integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of API‑led, service‑oriented, event‑driven, and microservices architectures.
• Good understanding of Kafka / event streaming and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Working knowledge/exposure to Java and ability to understand Java‑based integration components.
• Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, APIs, messaging, MQ, JSON, XML, and data transformation.
• Understanding of integration security concepts including OAuth, JWT, TLS/SSL, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, logging, and production support is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of non‑functional requirements such as scalability, availability, performance, security, resiliency, and maintainability.
• Experience in modernization, migration, and transformation programs is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in distributed/global teams and manage multiple priorities.
