Job summary

Visionet Systems Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior IBM Integration Lead and Architect to drive design and delivery of complex integration solutions using IBM ACE, DataPower, APIC and related technologies. You will lead hands‑on development, define standards, and mentor teams to ensure scalable, reliable middleware.

Candidates should have 8–12 years of experience in IBM middleware, strong SQL, MQ, SOAP/REST, and a proven track record in architecture and collaboration with business units.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to gather requirements, define scope, assess feasibility, and plan testing approaches.
• Analyze functional and technical integration requirements for IBM middleware solutions (ACE, DataPower, APIC, iPaaS).
• Develop hands-on code, perform unit and user testing, and support production rollout.
• Create design documents, technical specs, implementation plans, and on-call notes.
• Adhere to ESB design standards and contribute to evolving best practices.
• Provide SME input for reducing complexity and improving performance and cost.
• Design solutions with effective monitoring of applications and systems.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure robust integration architecture.

Job Description – Senior IBM Integration Lead and Architect

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams in requirements gathering, scope definition, feasibility assessment, and testing approaches.
• Perform functional and technical analysis of integration requirements for the purpose of designing reusable and extensible IBM Middleware solutions including IBM API Connect, Integration Architect, AWS Integration Services, IBM CP4i, IBM Data Power, IBM Websphere, Retail Operations, Database Management, AWS Cloud Services, IBM App Connect, IBM Integration Support and Development, IBM Integration Architecture,iPaaS, IBM MQ.
• Perform hands‑on technical development of code, unit test, user test support and production implementation.
• Create/maintain development and support artifacts including design documents, technical specifications, implementation plans, on call notes, etc.
• Adhere to existing ESB design standards, processes and best practices and contribute to their ongoing evolution.
• Provide subject matter expertise for continuous improvements such as reducing complexity, time and cost and increasing performance and effectiveness of IBM integration solutions including IBM ACE, IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect.
• Design the solutions with the consideration of effective monitoring of applications and systems.

Requirements/Skillset

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must have 8 to 12 years’ experience.
• Must have IBM ACE, DataPower and IBM APIC analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and performance tuning experience with strong ESQL, XSLT and Gateway Scripts.
• Experience with consuming and exposing protocols such as SOAP, REST, SAP IDocs and File Systems.
• Experience with data formats: XML, XML Schema, WSDL, DFDL, XSLT, JSON, IDOC, etc.
• Experience with performance tuning of IBM ACE applications, IBM APIC and DataPower.
• Version Control tool experience, preferably GIT.
• Experience with data transmission protocols: HTTP/S, TLS, MQ, and SAP adapters.
• Strong Database and SQL skills.
• WebSphere MQ application development skills. Understanding of MQ intercommunication architecture including queues and channels, MQ clustering, pub/sub from IBM ACE using MQ as the publication engine.
• Deep understanding of retail business and operations.
• Experience in gathering business and technical requirements for new applications and application changes.
• Experience in creating detailed functional and technical design documents.
