Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation professional for Cement plant Main & Utility Services in India. The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on experience in process instrumentation, DCS, PID control, and field instruments across grinding and material handling areas.

You will plan daily work, supervise manpower, ensure safety standards, and drive maintenance, shutdowns, and process improvements, including exploring AI-based technologies to reduce stoppages.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Instrumentation or B.Tech required.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Engg, Main & Utility Services.
• Experience with process instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Have good knowledge of ABB make DCS system
• Is familiar with making PID loop for process improvement
• Have knowledge of field instruments being used in ball mill, Roller Press, Wagon tippler and Packing plant
• Is familiar with the SAP system
• Manpower monitoring
• Well versed in UTCL safety Standards
• Doing opportunity, preventive and breakdown maintenance of E&I department in Ball mill and roller press circuit
• Shutdown planning
• Process improvement and use of AI based new technologies
• E&I stoppage reduction by preventive and breakdown maintenance in Cement mill area
