Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in India seeks a senior engineer with 10+ years of DCS/PLC programming, engineering and commissioning to lead projects from inputs analysis through FAT and site commissioning.

Design and implement Boiler/BOP packages (Ash Handling, FGD, Water Treatment, etc.), run process simulations, verify control logics, and collaborate with vendors and clients. Thermal/CCPP power plant experience preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in DCS/PLC programming, engineering and commissioning.
• Ability to write reports and business communication.
• Ability to interface with vendors & sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete Project Life Cycle from inputs analysis to Design & Engineering, Testing & FAT followed by commissioning.
• Design and implementation of Boiler / BOP, Packages (Ash Handling, FGD, Water Treatment, etc.).
• Process simulation, testing, and understanding of SAMA, Narratives, and control schemes.
• Verification and functional testing of logics and controls.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Job description

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• You will be responsible for complete Project Life Cycle i.e. starting from inputs analysis, Design & Engineering, Testing & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) followed by commissioning as per requirement.
• Design and implementation of Boiler / BOP, Packages (e.g. Ash Handling, FGD, Water Treatment, etc.)
• Process simulation & testing, Understanding of SAMA, Narratives, and control schemes
• Verification and functional testing of Logics
• Nurturing smooth collaboration and communication with all stake holder.

Who You Are:

Ten(10)+ years of experience inDCS/PLC programming, Engineering & commissioning, hands on experience inDCS/PLC programming. Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written. Ability to write reports & business communication. Ability to interface with vendors & sub-contractors. Ability to troubleshoot DCS/PLC control system.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent field)
• Ten (10+) years of experience inDCS/PLC programming/Engineering / commissioning.Minimum three (3) years hands on experience inDCS/PLC programming / engineering.
• Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written
• Ability to write reports & business communication.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to interface with vendors & sub-contractors.
• Ability to troubleshoot DCS/PLC control system.
• Thermal / CCPP Power Plant working experience.
