Job Description Database Developer

Position: Database Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Database Developer with strong hands-on expertise in MySQL and PostgreSQL. The candidate will be responsible for database design, development, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting while working closely with application development and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain databases using MySQL and PostgreSQL.


• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and database objects.


• Design efficient database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships.


• Perform query optimization and performance tuning.


• Analyze and resolve database performance and data-related issues.


• Implement database changes, migrations, and upgrades.


• Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and availability.


• Work with developers to optimize application-to-database interactions.


• Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.


• Support backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery processes.


• Participate in database migration projects between environments or database platforms.
