Role: Database Administrator (DBA)
Work Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
Who Are You
- Experienced Database Administrator who can take ownership of our database environments, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and perform at their best.
- Skilled in T‑SQL / PL‑SQL scripting for automation and troubleshooting, with experience in database migration, patching, and version upgrades.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server and/or Linux systems. Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL platforms is an advantage.
- Experience with database auditing, compliance, performance tuning, and monitoring tools is beneficial.
- Background in large‑scale or multi‑database environments, capacity planning, and automated maintenance scripting is a plus.
Experience & Qualification
Experience: 5–7 years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering discipline
Must Have Skills
- Expertise in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Monitor database performance and proactively tune queries, indexes, and configurations.
- Proficiency in T‑SQL / PL‑SQL scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Implement and manage database backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high availability (HA/DR).
- Strong database security management—roles, permissions, and encryption.
- Experience with database migration, patching, and version upgrades.
- Good understanding of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Good To Have Skills
- Hands‑on experience with database auditing, compliance, and encryption tools.
- Understanding of database capacity planning and storage management.

- Manage, monitor, and maintain all production and development database environments.
- Ensure database performance, security, and availability through proactive monitoring and tuning.
- Develop automation scripts for routine maintenance, monitoring, and reporting.
- Implement and validate backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Analyze slow‑running queries, optimize execution plans, and fine‑tune indexing strategies.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, patching, and data migrations across environments.
- Document database architecture, configurations, and procedures for reference and audit readiness.
