Job summary

FIS in Pune, India is seeking an Experienced Data/Reporting Analyst to consolidate and report complex data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity of supporting database information.

You will design data retrieval processes, build queries and reports, extract data from DBs in formats like CSV, Excel, XML, and maintain SOPs while improving controls and meeting SLA targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advanced Excel and VBA experience.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and define requirements.
• Create and maintain process documentation (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Research, compiles, analyzes, and reports operational data from multiple sources.
• Design data retrieval processes and determine report requirements.
• Create queries and reports to improve departmental efficiency.
• Extract information from databases in various formats (CSV, XLS, XML, etc).
• Convert and store data in back-end databases such as SQL and Access.

Job Description Summary

Report complex data from multiple sources. Maintain accuracy and integrity of supporting database information.

What You Will Be Doing

• Research, compiles, analyzes, and reports various operational data from multiple sources including unit production, productivity and/or quality statistics
• Meets with report users, determines report requirements, understands where data is located and designs processes to retrieve data
• Creates queries and reports through use of reporting tools to create efficiencies within the department
• Extracts information from databases in a variety of different formats such as DBIV, csv, txt, .xls, XML, FW, SAS, .RTF etc
• Converts and stores data from sources into back-end databases such as SQL and Access

What You Bring

• Minimum 5-year experience required in Advanced Excel skill and VBA is required with professional level profeciency
• Working closely with the team to identify process needs and opportunities for improving controls in processes
• Candidate will be responsible for review of multiple processes and will also be responsible for creating and maintaining process level documents like SOP
• Candidate will be responsible to raise any process related issues on time and work with relevant team to get it resolved
• Consistently meet or exceed target goals for SLA parameters of TAT, productivity, quality, etc

• Communicate and follow-up with internal/ external customers via phone or email for specific assignments
• Review, research and provide feedback on discrepancies for assigned processes
