About The Role

As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our data infrastructure. You’ll work with a variety of modern data technologies to build scalable solutions that drive business insights and operational efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools such as ADF, Spark, and SQL
• Support and enhance existing data workflows and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Implement data modeling strategies for warehousing and lakehouse environments
• Perform data transformations using Python/PySpark and SQL
• Integrate data from various sources including APIs and RESTful services
• Contribute to CI/CD processes using Git and related tools
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed

What You Bring

• Proficiency in SQL (Microsoft, Oracle, or similar)
• Shift time - 2 PM to 12 AM IST
• Experience with Spark and ADF
• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON and CSV
• Strong understanding of the Big Data lifecycle
• Hands‑on experience with Python or PySpark
• Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with storage solutions like Azure Storage Accounts or S3 buckets
• Understanding of database administration principles

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Redshift
• Knowledge of KQL, DAX
• Exposure to Power BI for data visualization
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
