This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Protection Lead Engineer based in India.

This is a senior cybersecurity role focused on protecting sensitive enterprise data across a global technology environment. You will lead the technical strategy and architecture for a large-scale Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program. The role combines Microsoft Purview and Sentinel expertise with cloud security, automation, APIs, and emerging AI/ML techniques. You will translate complex security requirements into scalable solutions while balancing strong protection with business usability. As a technical leader, you will influence architecture decisions, resolve high-risk incidents, and improve detection and response capabilities. You will also mentor engineers and collaborate with senior stakeholders across security, privacy, infrastructure, and business teams.
