Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to join the Cyber Security team. You will lead data discovery/classification, DSPM implementation, and protect sensitive information across geographies.

You will oversee disk encryption controls (BitLocker), DPIAs, vendor risk from a DLP lens, and ARB reviews, while guiding a team and coaching engineers. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or InfoSec.
• 10–12 years in DLP, data discovery/classification and data security.
• Experience with DSPM tools and hybrid environments.
• Familiar with GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Certs such as CISSP/CEH/OSCP are a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to stay updated on DLP trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive DLP program including discovery, classification and protection policies.
• Conduct DLP and DSPM assessments to identify and report data protection risks.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations across geographies.
• Collaborate with legal teams to review contracts and MSAs for DLP compliance.
• Oversee deployment and tuning of disk encryption technologies like BitLocker.
• Understand DPIAs and evaluate vendor risks from a DLP perspective.
• Participate in ARB reviews ensuring DLP/DAM/DSPM are integrated.
• Manage data breaches and DLP incidents, and guide response efforts.
• Stay current with the latest DLP threats and technologies.
• Mentor junior team members and foster learning and excellence.

Purpose/Objective

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Data Loss Prevention (DLP) - to join us! As a Senior Manager, you will work as a part of our Cyber Security team, and you will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that sensitive data is protected from unauthorized access misuse, and breaches. Your role will also cover Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), disk encryption controls, discovery and classification technologies, and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) solutions.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• - Manage a comprehensive DLP program, including data discovery, classification, and protection policies.
• - Conduct DLP and DSPM assessments to identify, mitigate, and report data protection risks.
• - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations across multiple geographies.
• - Collaborate with legal teams to review contracts and MSAs for DLP compliance.
• - Oversee deployment and tuning of disk encryption technologies (e.g., BitLocker).
• - Understanding of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and evaluate vendor risks from a DLP perspective.

• 1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• 1. 10–12 years of experience in data loss prevention, data discovery/classification, and database/data security.
• 1. Experience with DSPM tools and integration in hybrid environments.
• 1. Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• 1. Experience with DLP, DSPM, disk encryption tools and automation.
• 1. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus.
• 1. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• 1. Ability to stay up to date with the latest DLP trends, threats, and technologies.
