Job summary

WOW Softech is seeking a Data Privacy Manager/Associate Director to lead privacy programs in India. The role requires 10+ years of experience and hands-on governance for GDPR/CCPA compliance, data mapping, DSAR management, and incident response. Location includes Chennai/Mumbai with immediate to 30-day notice.

You will drive privacy by design, data ethics, and training initiatives while advising clients and stakeholders on risk and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Law or related field.
• 10+ years experience in data privacy and compliance.
• Hands-on with GDPR/CCPA and regional regs.

Responsibilities

• Lead data privacy and protection compliance programs.
• Develop and implement privacy programs and governance.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).
• Oversee data mapping, inventory, and classification.
• Manage DSAR processing and data subject rights.
• Apply Privacy by Design and data ethics principles.
• Lead incident response for data breaches and risk management.
• Drive privacy awareness and employee training.
• Advise clients and manage stakeholders.
