Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Privacy Engineer to implement privacy-by-design solutions and ensure compliance with global data protection laws like GDPR and DPDPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate privacy regulations into technical controls
• Implement data discovery, classification, and mapping
• Manage consent, data subject rights (DSR), and retention policies
• Apply privacy-enhancing techniques (encryption, anonymization, etc.)
• Conduct DPIAs and support audits/compliance
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams

Required Skills

• Experience in data privacy, security, or compliance tech
• Knowledge and implementation experience of GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA, and privacy frameworks
• Hands‑on with PETs (Privacy Enhancing Technologies) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Basic programming (Python/Java) (Optional)
• Understanding of security and data protection techniques

Preferred Skills

• Certifications (CIPP, CIPT, CIPM)
• Experience with tools like OneTrust, BigID
