Job summary

CRMTechIndia seeks an experienced Data Modeller to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications. You will craft ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and schemas, translating business needs into scalable structures.

The role focuses on dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, and Medallion architecture to support analytics and BI. You will oversee ETL/ELT processes, cloud migration, and performance optimization while aligning with data governance and metadata

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience with 3+ years in Data Modelling.
• Strong knowledge of ER Modelling, RDBMS, SQL, and database design.
• Hands-on experience with Dimensional Modelling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault.
• Experience with data modelling tools such as SqlDBM, Erwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Good understanding of Medallion Architecture and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, metadata management, and data governance.
• Experience designing models for BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
• Knowledge of Graph Modelling, Document Modelling, and NoSQL databases is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Translate business requirements into scalable data models.
• Design Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and business teams.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, metadata management, and modelling standards.
