Job summary

RoboticsExpertsIndia is seeking an experienced Data Modeller to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications. The role focuses on cloud data platforms, data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and modern data architecture to enable scalable analytics and BI solutions.

You will design star and snowflake schemas, support ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure governance and standardization across data models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience with 3+ years in Data Modelling.
• Strong knowledge of ER Modelling, RDBMS, SQL, and database design.
• Hands-on experience with Dimensional Modelling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault.
• Experience with data modelling tools such as SqlDBM, Erwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Good understanding of Medallion Architecture and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, metadata management, and data governance.
• Experience designing models for BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
• Knowledge of Graph Modelling, Document Modelling, and NoSQL databases is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and database schemas.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models.
• Design Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Support ETL/ELT processes and cloud migration initiatives.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and normalization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and business teams.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, metadata management, and modelling standards.
