Job summary

Java India seeks an experienced Data Modeller to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise apps. You will craft ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and scalable schemas supporting BI tools and cloud migrations.

The role requires 5+ years total experience, with 3+ in data modelling, strong SQL/RDBMS skills, and familiarity with Dimensional Modelling, Data Vault, and Medallion Architecture. Mumbai-based position with modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience with 3+ years in Data Modelling.
• Strong knowledge of ER Modelling, RDBMS, SQL, and database design.
• Hands-on experience with Dimensional Modelling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault.
• Experience with data modelling tools such as SqlDBM, Erwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Good understanding of Medallion Architecture and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, metadata management, and data governance.
• Experience designing models for BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.
• Knowledge of Graph Modelling, Document Modelling, and NoSQL databases is an added advantage.

Responsibilities
