Job summary

Questhiring is seeking a data modelling expert to lead enterprise data modelling and data platform development. You will design Data Vault 2.0 structures including hubs, links, satellites, apply business keys and hashing, and implement scalable ELT pipelines using SQL on cloud platforms.

You will optimize dimensional models with star schemas, fact and dimension design, and communicate complex modelling concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 3/4 years experience in enterprise data modelling and data platform development.
• Hands-on Data Vault 2.0 experience including hubs, links and satellites design.
• Understanding of loading patterns and historisation.
• Strong dimensional modelling with star schemas, facts and dimensions.
• Experience applying modelling technique for the right use case (Data Vault vs dimensional vs 3NF).
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• ELT pipelines built using SQL and modern data engineering practices.
• Familiarity with metadata-driven development and tooling (Ellie.ai).
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tooling (ADO Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience across full development lifecycle and modern delivery approaches.
• Ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment.
